What You Can Expect
For the assigned departments he/she ensures HR support on main functions such as: headcount planning, recruitment activities, implementation of the global compensation and benefits strategy, Leadership Development initiatives (Core competencies, coaching and mentoring), correct application of employment laws, policy formulation and administration and HR information management.
In partnership with the business lines and the HR Ass. Director, he/she translates business priorities into existing compensation and benefits plans and ensures that these are in alignment with the company's overall business strategy.
Supports and cooperates with local management to make appropriate assessments of employee's performance and potential and assists with appropriate action plans. Fosters an environment that provides on-going performance and career development as well as feedback and coaching to all employees. Contributes to the development of a high performance company culture.
Cooperates with HR group and local Senior Management in identifying individual skills and organizational development needs, using appropriate assessment tools. Assists in the implementation of organisational realignments, up-/downsizing, outsourcing and growth.
Monitors the effectiveness of training and development programs and makes needed corrections or enhancements to assure effectiveness. Actively solicits input from line management, employees, and HR Generalists to identify program needs and enhancements.
Develops employee communication material/plans regarding HR programs and initiatives and facilitates employee meetings and training sessions.
Is a change agent by facilitating and actively supporting change of an individual, group and at the organisational level to produce positive outcomes.

- Support the monthly Human Resources Reporting

Your Background
Education
- First education in economy (e.g. KV, BBA, B.S. M.A.) or equivalent is an adventage
- Further education in HR on the level of a certified HR Generalist / Specialist or Personalfachfrau/-mann preferred
Professional experience
- Solid HR experience including HR administration (5-7 years)
- Operated within a complex, changing environment possibly at HQ level
- Previous international exposure and working with a multi-national company, preferably in the Medtec or equivalent sector
- Solid and broad HR knowledge (Hiring for different business function, levels and profiles, HR best practices/tools/processes, HR Dev., Swiss labor laws, C&B etc.)
- Good presentation skills
- Demonstrated understanding of cross-cultural issues and managing diversity issues
- Knowledge of SAP HR/HCM / Success Factors
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization, in a complex matrix structure
- Proficient in the use of MS Office application (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Fluent in German and English - any other language is an asset
